Singer /Songwriter Conor Marcus from County Down wrote his first song when he was nine. He won the Forestside/Cool FM Young Singer/Songwriter of the year competition aged 12. His first EP “Maybe Sometime Soon” was released in March and has aired on BBC, Cool FM, Q Radio and many other stations.
This summer, Conor was a contestant on The Voice Kids UK and was the first kid to play an original song at a blind audition. Coached by Danny Jones from McFly, Conor made it to the Semi-finals.
Conor has played many festivals and events and has supported many acts including Levengro and Anthony Turner and will be supporting Brian Kennedy in December. Recently, Conor won a place on Belfast’s Oh Yeah Music Centre’s development programme, ‘Scratch My Progress’. His single ‘Looking Down On Me’ is out now and available on all major platforms.
