Field Music, helmed by brothers Peter and David Brewis, have just announced a series of UK shows for 2018. The dates include a special night at the Barbican in London with strings, horns, woodwind and assorted percussion provided by the Open Here Orchestra.

Pre-sale for the March shows begins at 10am tomorrow (Wednesday 25th October) exclusively from www.field-music.co.uk with tickets going on general sale this Friday (27th October, at 10am). Tickets for the Barbican show are onsale now from the Barbican site.

Over thirteen years and six albums, Field Music have managed to carve a niche where all of these sounds can find a place; a place where pop music can be as voracious as it wants to be. Field Music will be touring as a seven piece with core live players Kev Dosdale (guitar), Andrew Lowther (bass), Liz Corney (vocals and keys) plus Damo Waters on percussion and Sarah Hayes on flute and keyboards.
A new Field Music album – set to the be the group’s sixth – is in the works for early 2018.
