Manchester Soul Pop fourpiece Dantevilles have announced the release of their new single Daydreamer released through Heist or Hit on 4th May. Their debut self-titled EP will be released on 11th May with a hometown EP launch show on 1st June at Manchester’s Soup Kitchen.
Daydreamer follows the band’s recent singles The Fighter, It Might Be Tomorrow and Blackjack, which received support from John Kennedy on Radio X and BBC Introducing Manchester and is the final single ahead of their forthcoming Dantevilles EP. Produced by Joe Cross (Hurts, Courteeners), Daydreamer is a thoughtful track that blends a punchy beat with a psych-pop melody to create something unique, upbeat and addictive. The band say;
“Daydreamer is about spending a short time detaching ourselves from our surroundings and opening our minds. The idea of escaping reality through a daydream, all without anybody ever knowing where we’ve been.”
