Public Service Broadcasting are happy to reveal they will play the Edinburgh International Science Festival at Usher Hall on 12th April.
PSB will play their renowned album The Race For Space in its entirety at the beautiful Usher Hall on 12th April as part of the prestigious, world-renowned Edinburgh International Science Festival. The concert falls on the day of international celebration of space exploration,Yuri’s Night, named after the first man to go into space, Yuri Gagarin.
Much as for the Albert Hall show in Manchester, they will be accompanied by live strings, choir and brass and will perform the album in full. Following the success of the Manchester Science Festival appearance the band are delighted to have been asked to reprise the night in Edinburgh.
The show will be preceded by a short chat between J. Willgoose, Esq. and science-obsessed comedian and broadcaster Helen Keen. They will be talking about the writing and recording of the album.
Tickets will go on sale today at 10am and will cost £28 (including booking fee) – on sale directly from Usher Hall or the festival website.
