Slow Motion Heroes new single melds the band’s trademark ingredients into a poignant and raucous four minute epic. With two EPs under their belt on Cork’s FIFA Records, Slow Motion Heroes’ music is all about heart, melody, a tantalising build-up, saturated in good lyrics and power. Unafraid to let their songs take them on tangential journeys, ‘Resolution’ manages to combine all of these elements into a stunning mission statement.
‘Resolution’ doesn’t quite grab your attention, rather chains it down and prevents it from escaping. In the space of these few minutes, it paints a picture of a fragile world . . . which it then proceeds to destroy in true rock fashion.
