With their headline show at London’s Union Chapel (1st Feb 2018) now sold out, The Barr Brothers are pleased to announce that they will play an in-store performance at London’s Rough Trade East on Tuesday 30th January.
The London shows form part of a wider UK headline tour for The Barr Brothers who have spent the past couple of months supporting The War On Drugs across the UK and Europe. Their 2018 dates will take in Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow (as part of the Celtic Connections Festival), plus a sold out show at the stalwart Americana venue The Railway Inn in Winchester before a run of headline dates across mainland Europe.
Full listings for all upcoming UK shows are below.
The band’s busy touring schedule follows the release of their latest album ‘Queens of the Breakers’ which is out now on Secret City Records. The 11 hypnotically fluid songs of the album speak to the raw, elemental power of reflection, forgiveness, loss, and growing up. The Barr Brothers are at their most devastating in their balance of subtlety and grand gestures, immediate on the surface, the finer details lying deep in the arrangements.
For these upcoming live dates they will tour with their full band set up, featuring Brad Barr on lead vocals and guitars, Andrew Barr on percussion with Sarah Pagé on harp.
