The Duke Spirit announce the release of their highly anticipated new album Kin, through Ex Voto Records, on Friday 6th May. A new single, the BBC 6 B Listed Hands, is released on February 19th, the video is available to watch Below:
For Kin The Duke Spirit returned to the producer of their debut album, Simon Raymonde (Cocteau Twins and Bella Union label boss). The album was recorded over a two week period at Urchin Studios, East London and sees the band pushing in new exciting and beautiful directions. Kin includes contributions from Mark Lanegan, Sam Windett (Archie Bronson Outfit), Terry Edwards (PJ Harvey/Gallon Drunk) and Simon Raymonde.

In October of last year The Duke Spirit returned after a thee year live hiatus with a triumphant sold-out show at the historic Wilton Music Hall. As previously announced they play the following shows in February and March:

The band have seen their successes growing with acclaimed festival appearances accross the world and have appeared on high profile TV shows in the US:- Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Show with David Letterman. They have released three albums Cut Across The Land (2005), Neptune (2008) and Bruiser (2011).
