TRACK OF THE DAY: BOOTS – “BOMBS AWAY” (video)

After offering up “Bombs Away” from his highly anticipated debut album, AQUΛRIA, BOOTS is now premiering the official music video for the track. The “Bombs Away” video syncs up perfectly with the song’s murky and foreboding aesthetic as it portrays BOOTS navigating a seedy underworld reminiscent of 1980s neo-noir films. As was the case in his debut short film, Motorcycle Jesus, BOOTS both stars in his newest visual creation and assumes the directorial helm.

After his performance during Washington, DC’s Landmark Festival in September, Consequence of Sound called BOOTS’ “face-melting” set one of the best of the weekend. Catch BOOTS on tour in North America this fall as he supports Run the Jewels and when he plays Austin City Limits’ Austin Ventures Stage at 7:30pm this Saturday.
